Tuesday at 3 PM it was 101 in New Market, MD and gas was 2.89.9 for reg
86, very humid, chance of more rain and t-storms. Had t-storms late last night/early this morning. Sunny off-n-on. Humidity's down, however, as it was around 90% the last few days. Just had another tornado warning as well.
Gas at 3.02/gal at the BP on my way to work. That's as low as I've seen it in a long time. Haven't seen below $3/gal since the end of April here. Supposedly it's cheaper if I go out to DeKalb to buy gas....but that's about 30 miles and wasting a gallon or two of gas to save sixty cents is just dumb.

Addendum. It rained this afternoon, quite a lot. Fixing to rain some more. Gas down to $2.99/gal for regular at the BP and the Shell, down from $3.02 this morning.
My new glasses (happy birthday to me) will be a two week wait to get rimless lenses cut "at the lab". Prescription sunglasses (Ray-Ban Wayfarers, in movie star black) ready on time. Which means I have a pair of shades I can't use because I don't want to go from one rx to the other all the time (still have old sunglasses-beat up ill fitting pair of Wayfarers also in movie star black) so no big deal.
Used the Miata's aircon more than I've ever done in one day, caused much condensation to pour out of the lower vents in the passengers side footwell. Much confusion.
Now it's raining some more. I just changed into dry clothes, and have to go back out now.
Thought I'd just get everything out of the way!
