The last road race of the season happens the second weekend of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fest. As for most SouthWest MotorSports events, this will be at Sandia Motor Speedway. The road course is 1.7 miles, has 14 turns, promises speeds from 30 mph hard rights to 100 mph sweeping lefts.

SWMS events include a driver school at no added charge (compare that with the pro school costs!). SWMS events also offer a run group for street cars with VERY limited passing. All SWMS activities are safety oriented. Run groups for open wheel, vintage, and contemp race cars too.

Bring your car to the balloon fest and enjoy a weekend on the track. About an hour of track time a day. Out of state entrants get a $50 discount special - run for $225 - $50 = $175 for 2 days!
