I work with a bunch of "younger gen" rice burner guys. First question they ask is what kinda exhasut I'm running. We all know that a fat tail pipe make's you go...faster.

I've an Ansa on the Spider and the MGB. A neighbor (owns a 124 Fiat Spider) asked me one day: "How can I get that 'manly' exhaust sound?"

How much fuel in the tank? The new tank does not have the baffles could the fuel be sloshing all to one side and causing starvation at the pickup tube?
This could be one of those pull your hair out deals..

Nah I had plenty of fuel in her. The tank does not have baffles in it but I had at least 4 gallons in there. It was the cross pipe. She runs like a champ now.
