Hood release

It is a good job to do when the engine is out.

Do you need to replace just the inner cable, or the whole shooting match.
 
It can be done, but it is difficult to reach the nut on back side of the knob assembly. I do not remember if it is possible to get to it from the underside of the car, but I seem to remember replacing mine was not too bad from the top side when I had the carbs and manifold removed.
