Hood pops open

My hood "pops" open on my TR6 when I hit a sharp bump. Anyone else have this problem? Do the Catch Plate Assembly or Hood Catch Assembly wear out?

It's adjustable, Larry. Just play with it. And, they do wear out. I had to change mine.

I like the look of the racing style "hood pins" on my TR4A /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Problem fixed!
I tried adjustment, over and over.. It was just too wore out to adjust again
