Hi All,

This forum seems to have some pretty smart (and "old") guys.

Does anybody here know what manufacturer and year of car this hood ornament was originally on ? It is NOT on that car now...

Okay, Jeff, how in the heck did you know that? Who knows what hood ornaments on '54 Packards look like?

Nope, no Packard here, but I have a friend who is very into them from about '48 to '55. There's enough sheet metal in one of her cars to make five or six of mine!

You are correct, Sir !

After looking at a bunch of Packard pictures in the I'net, it appears to be a '54, probably a Patrician.

I go back that far too. I dated a girl whose dad had a '55, but it's ornament looked nothing like this one.
