Looks sorta like the pull handle that recently followed me home! 'cept I've gotta figure out what I'm gonna do with it!

Mike, Thats the one. I think he wanted it gone before the storage unit needed to be renewed. I went there with cash and a empty trailer. Alot of people talk but few act. There may just be more to the story than i care to type here. Now what to do with it? Bob

Geez Gentlemen, I thought we're supposed to be in a recession? lol

Oh wait, you are stimulating the economy, I get it.

Good score seems like.

OMG!!!! I think my economy's just been stimulated. DANG, now I think I'm gonna have to go have a cigarette..... sigh.....

and HIYA's to everyone

Think I'm gonna put a battery in the pull handle that recently followed me home & see what happens....I drove it around in the guy's drive & onto my trailer....

Tony,

May I recommend that you first read the Autoist's article "Waking a Sleeping B" before you "see what happens"...there is a lot of useful information there and the guy who wrote it is the "Great Pumpkin" of MG's! :jester:

Was wondering that myself, have a Speed on the shelf. Broken focus rack so it mostly sits there looking good.

Got me - but after the inspection I made & the test drive, I might just be able to make it a driver for somebody else to go through the checklist!

I have the new red 67 running enough and the hydraulics going so i took it down the street. Engine sounds good and the trans is very good also. No 2nd gear crunch when shifting. Now to get the fuel system working. The fuel drained out of the tank was clean but very old and both of the electric pumps on the car are bad. yeepee! Bob

Hap, This gearbox is great! No crunching and quiet for a 3 syncro unit! I also rebuilt a early 3 syncro to keep in stock and its on the shelf. Its getting much harder to find rebuildable cores that do not need the laygear and first gear. If i hear of anyone that needs one i will send them your way. bob
