We didn't make it to the toast on Sunday, too tired and pooped from Saturday night. We(my fiancee and I) were part of the organizing committee. Set up the stage decoration, made, printed and handed out the name tags, made and set up table decorations. My gal was the "poosey Nancy" during the "Toast to the Haggis" ceremony.
We had just over 210 folks in a large auditorium. Highland Dancers, Country Dancers, Singers, Poems to Robbie Burns, BagPiper and Bagpipe Band played. A performance by a Rabbie Burns stand-in. Good food, including the low fat Haggis recipe. Took about 4 hours from the time we opened the doors to the time we let everyone out. Then about an hour takedown time. So we was tuckered by the time we got home.
