Just how do you hold your mouth right to install the furflex around the door! Its only 4 feet long and I feel like I have gone ten rounds with Joe Louis!

I think it is closer to 6ft.? Maybe that's the problem?

oh great now you made it 50 percent harder!
We think if you've already survived 10 rounds with Joe Louis you can go another 5. Post pics!

Where did you buy it?
If it's from the usual places you'll need to buy "clips" to hold it, otherwise it'll come loose before you finish the door. If it's from "Mcgregor" it'll hold much better. Either way I used a rubber hammer to lightly tap into place. I usually start at the back of the door opening, where it usually needs to be secured, and work forward.

Good Luck, let us know how you're doing.

Its from Moss, its a odd color blue, oh well not a show car just want to enjoy it for the fall. The metal "jaws" if you will are not open and I have to open them up with a screwdriver to slide over the metal. Being a blind fit hitting the opening is hard for especially in the curves when I push down if im off of line up the jaws reclose and I miss the opening and have to reopen them up taking the furflex back off and starting over.

Foget it and order the correct materal from MacGreggor in Canada

Yes, sounds as if you ordered the cheap aluminum core garbage. Buy Macgregor's quality stuff he developed called "Bristleflex".
