I think you named it .... "crap" I've seen parts cars go for less than his buy it now price and you get a lot more than a trunk lid.
 
Hi Timbn2, I have seen boot lids go for $450.00 on bids, This buy now price is quite high for the that Item. However, most of the others I have seen will require additional restoration. Consequently, if the buy now price was the mimimum bid price you might just come out even. I purchased a bad looking one off E-bay about a year ago for $200.00 after striping 3/4" of bondo off of it it turned out to be very good and only took a small amount of work to render it useful. Evidently the PO did not have access to a panel beater--Fwiw--Keoke
 
Yes, I notice there's no bidders. I wonder why anyone would even list a part so over priced from the beginning. I really doubt this lister is new to the game either. Maybe he's hoping someone would bid without looking at the minimum bid? Wait until after the auction runs out and make him a fair offer.
