Yeah, but you liked it in MAINE, too, fercryinoutloud. They get what, two, mebbe three days o' summer up there? :smirk:

No, I love it in Maine. I like the snow and cold too, but I admit I really don't know how'd I'd last if I had to commute any distance every day in a lot of snow. The one place I had a job-lead late last year I would have probably lived within 6 miles of work, really no big deal.

I think where I'm from it probably was hotter in the summer than here, but for a shorter time. I avoiding going out from late June to early September, around here I plan on hibernating from mid-May to mid-October.

I know a Florida native that moved to Anchorage last year. He's done with Florida, won't even come back to visit. Nothing wrong with that, there's something for everyone.

Anyway - if the right opportunity presents itself I'll probably try to move but I don't see it happening in the immediate future (unless we open up in central PA then I'll probably cover both areas and maybe get some New England work too).

LoL

ya know... the temp just dropped like 5 deg F. If I were in FL and that happened I KNOW the bottom of the sky would just open up and fall on me...

but here... it just got cloudy... I guess it'll rain if it drops another 10F

the temp here is dropping rather fast since the rain to I'm freezing it must be like 72 out!!!!!!
