And it's the same color as mine - minwax, errr deep red. I don't like it.

I think I know the seller. He runs an antique car sales shop in Newton, NJ. If it is him, he is an honest guy, he has a lot of upper end imported antique cars and he is an old car hobbyist himself. But he never wood (pun) have done this to the car himself. He probably picked it up as is and it is on consignment. Again, I am not sure if this is the guy I know.

Must have a plan for the gauges. Drugs and woodworking tools shouldn't be stored in the same room.

The placement of some of that veneer looks suspiciously like it could be covering rusted-out spots woodn't you know!! :devilgrin:

I had that impression. I think the side pieces are covering rust and the rest is camoflage for the side pieces.
