My parents were never into British cars but they did have what I considered some interesting cars as I was growing up and several convertibles which helped spur my interests.
196? Ford Ranchero
1963 Buick Riveria
1957 Corvette (Family of 5 in a 2 seater for weekend drives)
1969 Olds Toronado (front wheel drive with 455!)
1976 Fiat 124 Spyder
1980 Rabbit convertible
Wow scot, talk about a close family. At least the healey had rear seats. My dad's 1st british car was a 58 MGA.. but after my uncle showed up driivng a healey, my dad bought one 2 weeks later.
