This is where our wedding reception was held...unfortunately we didn't take the Healey since the wedding dress wouldn't fit in the passenger seat. Mrs. Thompson should have gone in the mini-skirt and go-go boots like I requested.

What a great photo! I live about 1 1/2 miles from the History Museum near Washington, U. Have a 60 BE.

Congratulations on the wedding.

Thanks Dave! Although I should have been more descriptive in my comments, we've been married for six years. You should bring your Bugeye to one of the Gateway Healey meetings (if you haven't already). I'd love to see it. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks again,

Shane

Thanks Tab,

The car was already painted this combo when I purchased it. It's Ivory White over Lobelia Blue. The Ivory White is a little creamier than normal white, and Lobelia Blue (supposed to be used on the original 100S) is a wonderful, deep, dark blue. From what I've read elsewhere on the forum, the ICI paint code for Lobelia Blue is vkx1.

Thanks for the info on the paint. I am considering painting my BT7 this combination. My other option is keeping the car all ivory, and original, but am playing with the idea of painting the cove Healey Blue or Lobelia Blue like yours. Are you happy with the color scheme of your Healey? Do you have a link to more pictures?

Thanks,
Dan
