I would love to see front engined grand prix cars back in favour. I suspect that people might actually be more interested in style, beauty and driving ability rather than carbon fibre arrows that all look the same. (JMHO)
While I think the Lotus 49 and the Ferrari 312 are two of the best looking F1 cars ever, folks were saying the similar things then as some here are saying now (the past whatever era was somehow "better"). Other than the ground effects years, the progression over the years of the F1 breed is just fine with me. Go see a F1 race - you will come away impressed (said that after my first in '65 and can't wait to be in the stands for this year's Canadian GP).
