High Torque Starter & Datsun 5-Speed

I have a similar one in mine and the clocking feature is great. It gives you the flexibility to adjust it to the area. Mine fit really tight (I would really hate to have to change it any time soon), but that's because I have a 1275 in my 78. It also avoids making that nasty hole in the Datsun bell housing to accommodate the bendix on the original starters. Be sure to shop around. You can find them for a decent price on ebay.

My Midget has the Datsun gearbox AND the Datsun B210 starter and alternator. The alternator is small and fits nicely, all work well.

If you're foraging and use a "donor" B210, get it all, works like a charm and very inexpensive.

FYI.
