high pressure

I replaced the line from the block to the oil gauge (also new rocker arm assembly) and now the pressure reads higher than before. The old line was lightly spraying oil, now no leaks. How high is okay?

The higher pressure is the result of less oil leaking out of the rocker arms. I would not expect more than about 65 psi cold if all is well.

Ahhh, thanks again Dave. 65 is what I got. Will this increase the out flow of the Healey leaks like the seapage from the head gasket?
