I returned Friday from a week in the mangroves near Everglades City. Not a skeeter in sight. We mainly have Salties , which were down from lots of fresh water in the backcounry earlier in the year. Other species were apparently waiting for a big rain to hatch, which rain Fla had the end of last week.
