This is the thread of an email conversation I had with my significant other today:

Erica:
Omgomgomgomgomgomgomg, some stuff just got delivered to the house....

Chris:
Don't look at it.

Erica:
omg might be too late

Chris:
Take a picture and send it to me.

Erica:
OK, there is a poopin snail on the outside of the box.

Chris:
I'll have to call them when I get home, it must have been delivered to the wrong address. I think that is a part for Chesapeake. (one of my customers)

Erica:
Are you being cruel???

Chris:
Does that sound like me?

Erica:
I don't know what to believe!

Chris:
Are my remarks compressing the problem or expanding your anxiety over the issue?

Erica:
Both, and they're working together to get me all spooled up!

Chris:
I think you need to cool off.

Erica:
Pant pant pant

Chris:
I think it is more like pshhh pshhh, pshhhh

She found her turbo a few weeks too early, I knew I should have shipped it to work.

Now let me get this straight...you bought your "significant other" a turbo for Christmas?

Sure, why not? Nial, you've met her, it makes sense to you doesn't it?

If I did this then there may be a problem:

but otherwise, I doubt it.

Heck my wife would be totally beside herself if she got the superchargher for her Elise that she wants. You should have seen the looks on her parents faces, (we do christmas at her sister's house with her family), the year she got her Dymag wheels for her Ducati.

Being married to a motorhead does have its advantages.

A majestic turbo, sweet!

Actually Chris, I'm Nial (you replied to Basil).

But yes, I think it's a perfect present for Erica.....I'm pretty sure she was faster around Pocono North than you were.
(is this going on the Mini project, the Miata, or something else?)

Past presents I've given to Linda have included:

-A telephoto lens.
(so she can take great shots of me racing :jester: )

-A GPS (so we can find our way to racetracks)

-Heck, this year I bought her a house with a 3 car garage wired for 220V.

By the way, ~this~ is what she's getting me this year.

Chris has got the right idea!
Some of you guys sound like you need some "relationship advice".

scary - I'd forgotten that PSA. Time to reconsider my list.

BTW, they need more PSA's like that that - you know the gory details
