First time post in Rover forum been in Triumph Forum a long time.
Ok.........here's the deal does anyone know anything about clutch slave cylinders interchangeability???? with the 67 TR4A.
The 67 had an original bore of one inch the repro parts are all 7/8".
Just thought it might be fun to ask.
Thanx

There would have been a degree of interchangeability between many British cars. Practical Classics magazine did a series on just that subject not long ago. I'll see what I can find.

Hi Steve,

I have two '66 Series II-A's and an '80 TR-7. The cylinders might fit but the diameters might not be equal so the hydraulic power might not seem enough. The slave cylinders for the Series Land Rovers are so inexpensive [kits even less so] that I've never looked at swapping out.

Best wishes,

Jeff

Jeff,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm doing a resto-mod (hopefully to rally) and am looking at a bunch of angles.

I may also have that article. Need to check.
