Hi...I'm new here to the forum, and wanted to introduce myself...my name is Ray, I'm 55 and married, and retired from Forestry... I live in Colorado Springs, CO....I have always had a healthy interest in British cars, and I've recently bought a complete and 50% running 1965 MKll Triumph Spitfire, that I'm in the process of 'getting up to parr' so-to-speak within the spare spot in the garage. I've had a couple of mgb's in the past, and have always been tinkering on some old car build, mostly 1950's hotrods...but, I absolutely love the style and design of the Spitfire, and the availabilty of parts! Both my wife and I, want to work on this particular project together, and I wanted something we could share the process with, and she could eventually drive around town which gives her some fun and style. I will do the hard stuff, and she wants to learn to do some bodywork, etc (her first effort)...which will be interesting:rolleye:....I very much like the 'round-tail' Spitfires, and the classic design of the past! Anyways....as with British mechanicals, I will seek help from time to time from the members here, and tell you in advance how appreciative I am to the support of the Forum here....the car will take a bit of time, but both my wife and I look forward to the project together...our little bit of keeping the British Car heritage alive and on the road....thankyou!----I think I'm doing this 'introduction' correctly
