Nice-looking Maestro. These cars were always pretty under-rated, and can be absolute bargains if you can find a good one. I used to own an MG Metro......not quite in the same league, I know, but another overlooked car that was fun to drive. I believe that you are the first "front-wheel drive" MG owner on the board.

Nice car! The Maestro is an unfamiliar car to me, since it never a came to the US (but I'm quite familar with it's "cousin", the classic Mini). We are presently running a single-carb Maestro intake manifold on one of our racing Sprites (shown below), as an experiment...it actually seems to work better than the stock twin carb setup! I'd love to run the turbo-setup, but it's not permitted.

Welcome! Some of those Maestro's were pretty quick & nimble...there's a guy in the UK with a white one that's supposed to be the fastest Maestro in the eworld - have you seen it?
