Just a note to say hello from this tiny island.
I recently found for sale here a very sorry 1959 TR3A which of course I couldn't resist, Im now slowly plodding my way through the restoring process.
Chassis nearly ready to re-assemble but I'm leaving the body until I feel up to it, it is indeed in a very poor state.
Any advice on the best method of replacing the inner sills would be very welcome.
I will attempt to attach a few pics at some stage of current state and progress.

Regards to all

Phil

Welcome, and good luck with your restoration!

Welcome!

"Welcome" & best wishes with your TR3.

IMG_20140403_164244_1.jpgIt was so rotten it seemed to be an act of kindness to chop it in half. Loads of odd pieces of steel welded on top of rust. Strangely enough I'm quite enjoying the process.
