Hello to all. I'm new at the forum- just found it today and registered immediately.
Since last year I'm the lucky (and always busy) owner of an AH BN4 1957, (late Longbridge, LHD) with a BJ8 engine. It's my first Healey, before I had an early Spitfire (MK II, 1966) which made a lot of fun!
When I bought the Healey there was a lot to do - I like the workshop-job very much.
Everything was dismantled, renewed, cleaned, repaired, etc. and I always tried to preserve as much as possible.
To overhaul the complete drivetrain, suspension, steering and electric took nearly one year - but meanwhile the car does again, what it was made for.
It was my target to bring the car back to the road in this summer and happily I reached it. (and I promised it to my wife:friendly_wink
In the future there is still a lot to do, especially to the interior.
The old trim panels are not complete or they are in a very bad condition. The hood is completely missing.
I fear I'll have to ask a lot of questions to that.
Norbert
