I'm fairly new to British cars... I've always loved them. My husband bought me a 1953 mg td in March. I've really enjoyed working on her with my 2 oldest boys. Glad to be here to learn what I don't know (which is almost everything) about keeping her on the road.

Welcome to BCF!

I was lucky to have a TD for a few years. Great fun, and interesting "older" technology.

We'd sure appreciate seeing some photos. hint hint

Good to have you with us.

Thanks for the welcome. We found her on a gravel lot covered in plastic with the top down and layer of dust... so after a new battery and a good cleaning she looks much better. This is my project (and it's so much cooler than my husband's 442)

Looks great! welsome and doubly welcome as not so many moms restoring cars with kids - great car and great idea!

Welcome to BCF! Some of us old guys may need to see that 442! I may have seen you driving around B'ham in the last couple of weeks. I live in Montevallo.
Our close, known, members are Rut in Tuscaloosa and Marvin Gruber in Florence.
Watch for the Birmingham Motoring Club fall show in Nov, I haven't seen anything yet.
Have fun!

I definitely will! A friend's husband is in the Birmingham Motoring Club. We are members of Dixie Vintage. The 442 is fun to drive when you want speed.
