Hi everyone .
I'm David and I live in South Warwickshire UK. I've joined the forum as I'm in the process of a full restoration of a MG TD 1953. Just coming to the end after almost exactly a year from importing the vehicle from the US. Stripped it down to bare chassis, converted to RHD and then rebuilt it. I've been working on it with a friend and we've just started the engine.
Previously I was a Porsche guy having owned and converted a few. I got into MGs because my partner in crime is obsessed with them and since he had helped with the Porsche, we thought we do an MG. We also thought it would be azimpler and easier job - Hmmm!!
Look forward to getting lots of advice and info from the forums...quite like the idea of an MGA next.....

welcome - sounds like a great project! keep us posted and pictures please

Hello David

Welcome to the forum.

I am sure you will get plenty of tips and advice for your MG TD project in the MG section.
Post some photos of the project so far.
