Hey, Tom [Nutmeg]

Oh my.... (It's purdy)

Interesting car. It's a gasoline engine - not a diesel. Engine was swapped long ago, but car was originally a diesel. And it's not even the correct gasoline engine. The paint codes are screwy, and it always bugs me that the seller didn't bother to clean up the engine compartment. Also some strange problems with the hood - the two side panels are actually missing and seem to have been replaced with sheet metal or masonite.

Suspension and exhaust obviously shot; incorrect bumpers; trim strips missing. Be wary of the trailer hitch implication.

Might be a fixer upper if the rust is minimal - but the engine compartment is a rusty mess, and trailing arm looks dubious.

Other than that ...

Binz did lots of conversions on the sedans, to produce "station wagons", ambulances, pickup trucks, and specialty vehicles. They were good cars overall.

Sure hope any potential buyer actually visits the car in person first.

Tom
