Haven't seen an update lately jr.

IF I had married children expecting their first born, I'd rather think this is a lot like that...waiting, waiting, waiting...

I haven't had time to upload pages to my site,..crazy busy here as it is wedding/graduation/fundraiser season. A chef's gotta make the money while the business is there /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'll try to update the site tonight.

Here's the skinny:

I've actually gotten my hands dirty at this point /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I helped install the transmission (I got a rebuilt,with overdrive, from Quantam Mechanics).

The electricals are wired in,..just waiting to drop in the engine,..prolly this Friday (yes,..my one day off is now a day in the shop /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Not so good news,..the tow company that brought me from the bodyshop to the mechanic, put the tow hooks on the rear axle and crushed the break lines,..now those have to be replaced.

Victoria British promised me an original manufacterer's radiator,..and I'm pretty sure that the original manufacturer wasn't in Vietnam,...I could be wrong,...but we'll work with what they sent /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm hoping for this all to be done soon,..the boss says it won't be ready for my Montreal trip on the 23rd,...but I'm still hopeful, I soooo wanted it done for my birthday on the 25th /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'll tell you what Jerry ... when you do something ... you go all out! What a great slideshow taking us through the process. Unfortunately all I could see were the $$$ signs ... I hope you intend to keep this car forever, but it is looking fantastic.

I'm looking forward to seeing it someday.

Ahh jr, it's getting sooooooooo close! So, so close! The 23rd is 3 weeks off yet! It just might happen!

I really doubt MG manufactured parts in Vietnam, but hey, who knows!? Sorry to hear about the brake lines...tow company's covering that for you, right? (worth a phone call)

Busy season for catering/chefs hey? Don't suppose I could hire you out? Have the dot's med school graduation the 20th, a surprise 80th birthday party for my mom (half the STL Symphony will be there), wedding rehersal is the 24th and son's wedding is the 25th...

I'm not looking forward to making the food for Mom's party. Everything else will fall into place as soon as I decide between 2-3 restaurants for the rehersal dinner. The chef I want has a very small place, Moxy, not sure he can accomodate us.

I'll polish your black bumpers if ya cook for me!
