As a kid I started with a 1966 Spitfire. A 1964 Spitfire. And then a 1966 Austin Healey Sprite MK3 that I restored while working for one of the last British Leyland dealers in central Pennsylvania. I always wanted a Bugeye so I picked up a pretty nice one from Kurt Tanner in California. Paperwork shows that it was owned by one of the last Presidents of the Austin Healey Club of America. I need to get it running at altitude and in the heat of Colorado. A bit of a challenge! Its got a 1275 with the 5spd. But is not liking the altitude or the heat or both. Steve

Hi Steve
I have a 1275 and a 5 speed also. On hot days or idling in traffic the 13 inch pusher fan installed in the front of the radiator keeps everything nice and cool.
