thought about turning the plenum 180* and run the air intake from the other side and then move the tank.
This would also make the fresh air intake fit better as the IAC kinda but just barely gets in the way.
Just found out my fans are controlled by the ECM so I can adjust as I want.
 
OK, Don - dumb question here:

With the intake hose positioned like it is (coming from the plastic nozzle in the front corner), is your incoming air getting filtered? Looks like it passes right by the pleated element. I'm not familiar with those; are they "hollow"?
 
They are hollow but the air enters the pleated area first. the only thing I don't like about it is that it picks up some warm engine air.
Just a theory I think.
 
"Path of least resistance" - I'll wager you're drawing in air almost completely without filtering.

I'm scratching my head about a design for my setup, incorporating cold air from both front corners, but need some sort of inline filter housing to hook up to my Holley Hi-Tek filter system.

they are designed that way I would have to take it apart and show you the front end.
