Can you help this guy out? He is on another forum and can't seem to get the answer he needs. Could you reply?
Following is a copy of his question

Thanks!
John

Hello,
I'm trying to locate an original OD switch bezel for a 1966 B, which goes between the bent-toggle-type switch and the dash. I have one from Moss, which appears to be aluminum, with "OVERDRIVE" and "NORMAL" painted on. In my memory (admittedly, dimming more each day), the original type was chrome with the NORMAL and OVERDRIVE engraved into the surface and filled with paint.
Does anyone know (or remember) what the original bezel looked like?

Hmmm. I've got one of the Moss parts as well on my 66B. (Although I believe the paint on the words fills in engraved words. I'll have to check that.)

Clausager's "Original MGB" only shows the same kind I've got on mine. Can't say as I've ever seen one that looked any different.

If you're really looking for originality, you might try contacting Tony Barnhill at The Autoist

He has an MG Graveyard and has lots of old parts, or can go pull them. Give him an email off his site (or he might reply here.)

Kim,
He already tried contacting Tony and he couldn't help. Thanks!

Basil,
I thought it might be a bad protical to tell someone from one forum to go to another on line. Don't worry, you will have someone joining the forum who owns a Lotus. So see? I keep you in mind!

I'll keep an eye out for early Bs with overdrive, and see what I see. As I said, I don't think I've ever seen anything other than the style that Moss sells. (Although I may have gotten mine from Victoria British...)

I'll check what I have on my car, and where I bought it, and let you know!
