So, finally a minute for some pics. This year I volunteered - ended up marshalling the big Saloons & Dropheads - Rolls, Bentley, Daimler etc.
Here are a few.
Daimler - one of five or so? lovely
Had a lovely chat with the owner of this Alvis - 22 left of 35 made. He bought it as a basket case and I think had 3200 hours in the resto. Just the budget for parts was huge!
I swear all British Cars are the same - '34 Roller & I asked him to straighten his parking a touch - wouldn't start - typical
This was stunning - the owner, 82, one of the founders of the Ontario RR club
The Daimler came from Virginia and the Bentley was a daily
more Rollers
This was one of my favourites
If you turned around from the Saloons, you found the Delorean corner. It was the 30th British Car Day, 30 years since they stopped making the Deloreans and they managed 31 cars. And then spent a long while (after this picture) getting them all exactly lined up and the doors all opened - and yes, there were flux capacitors & Mr Fusions a plenty. 2nd best line of the day, two guys walking along, one guy says to other, "we don't need to look at the Bricklins, let's go."
Finished my shift and made for the Jags
and, you know I am going to the oddball corner like a moth to a flame
This one by the way absolutely original - never restored!
And one for the fiends out there

a great day had by all - and it didn't rain till I was driving home!

BTW, funniest experience, was by Ms Triss and a large family came by, kids posing for pictures, so says I, "why don't you hop in and get your pictures taken. They do, and then I let them out, am chatting with the mother and all of a sudden look over and the two kids have climbed in the car next to mine, " No, little children you can't jump in any car, only if the owner lets you, and, you shouldn't touch other people's cars, look with your eyes and not with your hands." Parents were actually very grateful for the explanation - without raising my voice. 
(and the other owners weren't around - shhh.)
Oh, and, more younger owners and spectators than I have seen in a long time - was talking to some 20 something Mini owners & a similarly aged Midget owning couple and was a young woman who perfectly suited her bugeye (even if it wouldn't start right away) Lots of younger Delorean owners too - Back to the Future influence I am sure!
Oh, and, best line of the day. I am on the Rolls Royce side of the show and a couple come up to me. He says, "we are supposed to meet a friend here but we don't know where he is and we don't know what kinds of car he owns." (remember there are 1000+ cars at this show) "But," says the fellow, "Our friend said one word, Bugeye, does that mean anything to you?"

Great! Thanks for the snaps! I'm in a lab class right now and one of my freshman kids was telling me he's buying a Land Rover. So we're chatting and he tells me he just saw a Lagonda yesterday. And a minute later I see your shot of that Lagonda. Nice timing! --- That green car with the yellow wheels; I'm guessing that's a homebuilt. Has a VW Bug front beam axle (but with wire wheels!)

*sigh* I miss the Bronte show so much, it's been ten years now since I left Ontario, the import classic car scene here sucks for the most part, with a few exceptions to the rule...
Our big car show is in two weekends, the enormous High River car show, in a good year they'll get almost 1,500 cars in one day, but the vast majority of the cars being American stuff, although I did spot a rather rare Auto Union 1000S coupe at the show one year... Otherwise... :rapture:

A neighbor who does 4x4 conversions did a mini witha 440 mopar with twin 4 barrels.One carb in front of the windshield and the other behind,He sat over the rear axle.I don't know what became of the car as he sold it to someone who wanted the motor

WOW! what a show! 31 DeLoreans?! that's awesome. Those saloons made me long for my old Mark VIII Jag. That Mini is insane! Love all the oddball stuff. That MGB from NY has a large collection of window stickers from the Watkins Glen Vintage fest on its rear bumper. Those are the stickers used to identify what rally you are part of. Red is for the Glenora Run I believe. Each are a symbol of the featured marque for that year. His bumper from left to right are Porsche, Triumph (upside-down), Alfa, Mustang, BMW, Morgan.
