Hey Healeygal!

Hi Basil,

Well, naturally, Sherolock came up with the answer - it's a 30's Stout Scarab - kind of a concept car - only 9 or so ever made according to info from a web search. Also learned it's got a rear-engine Ford V-8, aluminum body and seats that can be moved or removed.

I've attached a photo of the rear of the car - don't know how to include it in a post.

Ah yes, the Scarab! I've heard of it somewhere. Thanks for the update. Its certainly an interesting vehicle. Looks years ahead of its time. Bet its hard to find parts for!
