That's a nice blog you've got there. There are few well written one's out there.

You know that you don't have to wait and hope about being paid for your writing. If you added google adsense to your blog it would then be considered a for profit writing enterprise. From there, you can treat it as a sole proprietorship and deduct expenses and the like on your taxes. It won't mean immediate pennies in your pocket, but more a delayed payback from Uncle Sam.

I started the same way back in 2008 when I was bored and laid up after a leg surgery. Now my site makes a modest allowance (a.k.a. Parts money) in advertising revenue, but more importantly, continues to be a nice tax deduction.

Congrats - I thought this was going a different direction when I saw the title. I get invitations to contribute to various things every day - Nigeria, Sierra Leone, even Egypt. All I have to contribute is banking info. :wink:
