Hi everyone,

I have a 62 Sprite I just purchased recently and am doing a complete restoration on. However no concours here since it is just a plain jane sprite! I am more kin to the American V8's and have just planted in a Ford 302 and T-5. I did get the original 948 running first though! However I couldnt get it to idle, just run at 2000+. The car was a steal and did come with its fair amount of trouble spots. Floors are getting replaced, as well as rear quarter areas at the bottom of each fender.

I am planning to do a relatively stock interior (saddle tan) with updated seats and the paint to be a dark forest green. I plan on making this car a nice sunday cruiser to romp around in once the weather cools off here in texas.

My baby however is my 68 Mercury Cougar with a 390 and 5 speed.

I also have had an 89 Alfa Romeo Spider.

Here are some pictures of my projects, and the transformation of the sprite.

Since I replaced the engine, I am trying to sell it for cheap! as well as many other parts, like the heater box, and other odds and ends I can list. I have the whole 1962 drivetrain for sale!

I am also looking for advice on the best Healey sites for parts. I have found some online, but would like opinions and reviews before I buy. I'll be mainly getting brake parts, cables, interior odds and ends.

Thanks for the help guys!
