My Name Mike D'angelo. I'm a 27 Year old Long time British Car Fan. I use to Own a 67 Austin healey and just recently Pick up a 76 Midget project car. I bought this car for 500 dollars with a running Engine But a Bad transmission. The tranny is replaced and Just a Brake job away from being Road worthy. I'm very excited. I Am a Long time VW Collecter who Has had the Love for the small British Cars as well. i recently Just sold my VW bus and hope to become a Full time British Car Guy. Thanks for having me on your furom.

Unfortuanlly i live way East of Clarksville. Hopefully i'll get to meet a Few of you Guys here in the states. I plain to attend the Carlise show this year. As well as Eurofest in Greeneville,SC. i attended this Event last Year with a Buddy of My in his Fiat 500. and LOVED it. Thanks for the warm welcome i am sure i will Be using this furom alot for info. MG's are a Bit differnt than Volkswagen and i am Alway Looking for Info and Tech.
 
Hi Mike. I'm pretty new here too but have found it to be a really friendly and informative place. Like you, I've done some Volkswagens. My wife currently has a really nice Super Beetle to we restored a few years ago. Anyway, glad to have you aboard.

Welcome aboard. You're just a few hours down the road from here. If you are at Carlisle in May, check out the array of TVRs that are there, since Carlisle is now our national club meet each year.

Yeah i know the roanoke area well actually. I will be there in a few weeks for work actauly. there a Nice import car place on williamson Ave i like to stop at everytime i am there. Nice to meet ya

Yes, you're talking about Webb Motors. They've been around forever and still do things the way they were done 40 or 50 years ago.
If you are going to have extra time and want to connect while you're in the area, let me know.

You have any info on this. is it all Bristish or european? the reason i ask is i have a friend with a fiat 500 who like to tag along with me.

It's British, but like many shows, there are always others hanging around for interest.

We've made this event several times - always a good turnout, and you can't beat the area for driving: "Tail of the Dragon"!!

I live about an hour from you in Richlands, Va. I come down that way some.

I hope to have my "6" ready in by mid May. I hope to do the Parkway some this summer.
