RED card for sure, and hope the league sanctions him and not let him play for a long time!
Fouls like that need to be dealt with swiftly. Fortunately, the MO40 games I do, do not allow slide tackling. Now the MO30 is a different story, but I tend to stay away from those guys... too much testosterone.
