Hesitation at Acceleration

Phil, thanks for the offer! I may take you up on it if Sherman it's available. He sounds gung ho to work on the car with me, though!

Harry, Some of these things I honestly dont know. I havnt checked timing. I dont know how yet! (need to learn) Car has points... I am planning on switching over to electronic in the future. All the parts are Lucas (which could be the problem!). Most are new (PO had rough running issues a couple of months ago, had the carbs rebult, new coil, new points, plugs, fuel pump, etc, put in then) but said they were cleared up after the work.

Speaking of to hot, I think I will run the car (next time I can... supposed to rain the next two days) until it starts to hesitate, then feel the carbs to see if they are hot or not. If so, I can always buy one of those heat shields and see if that works...

Think I will replace the plugs for good measure.
