Heritage Upholstery & Trim

The car is an early phase II. I agree with Patrick67bj8 that the rear panels do look better with out the square pattern even though it is suppose to have them. Anyhow unless you buy the panels you cannot not get the embossed square material. Then you would have to try and match the material. So to have everything match with all the material we bought we had no choice but to go with the plain surface.

As far as the rear panel wood, we just used the old, falling apart, wood as the pattern. If you look at the photo I do have the two studs for the shoulder harness and have purchased the correct bracket (from British Car Specialist) and will install new seat belts. I hope the fold down shelf clears the belt bracket. Can anyone confirm this?

Who was that guy Patrick ??? : )
That guy is an expert in my book and he lives in the North East part of the USA. I don't know if he would welcome many private emails questions(because I had so many), but he would be someone that could teach us a thing or two about Healey Interior trimming. I sent him a PM asking if I could tell who it is.
(okay guys, my neck of the woods just had a torrential downpour about an hour ago and I may lose internet shortly...we flood easy)

It was you Carroll Phillips!
Carroll has a restoration shop in NY and helped me out a lot when I was doing my Healey interior which I am forever grateful for. I took lots of photos of my work-in-progress when I was doing my interior and I'm always happy to share with you guys on the BCF what I did and learned.

After a recent experience with this company, I highly recommend completely avoiding them !!!
They make all the claims in the world about their knowledge, but after TRYING to deal with them, I got.
Wrong Rear seat material, wrong carpet edging, wrong door trim, they lost and or broke some of my original parts.
Then tried to tell me "they were like that" My list goes on forever.
Too bad this is an older thread because I just got my interior back. Very long story but after having to send my dash back due to an overstretched corner Tony hesitantly repaired it. First he tried to say it sat around in the box too long!!! LOL that’s what it does when it installed in the car. He finally agreed to repair it. I just got back from Maui after many months and picked up my car. The dash repair was lousy and the crack came back. He now says it was my mechanics fault and ask him to tell me the truth. These guys cannot be trusted especially the amount he charged for the interior of over $14G’s. Never again would I use this company. The customer service is the worst I’ve come across in many years. #heritageupholsterysucks

To all that read this. I have been around these cars for 40 plus years now, and have pride in workmanship. The level of service, and customer relations from Tony are the worst I've ever seen. Just run, far far away from dealing with this company.

Truly unbelievable. Could not agree with you more. I’m a Porsche guy and this is my 75 911S. Once he has your money.......
