Has anyone managed to get the Heritage technical manuals CD to work on Vista? I have sent e-mails to the HMC, but they won't even respond!!!

I'm using XP and the disc works really slow. It wouldn't work on John Loftus' computer at all (he had XP at the time also). I think the issue is the copyright protection. Poorly executed IMO. Maybe you'll get a better responce from the programmer. Greer & associates I think? Shoot, I was going to get the address for you, but it won't launch now. I'll try later.

Total shot in the dark ... I don't have the HMC CD. I assume it contains its own "reader" application that runs from the CD and reads data on the CD?

If you run it from the CD, is it being "screened" by an anti-virus app?

Just a thought. Back in the dark ages, every time I tried reading data from a 3.5" floppy, my old Norton antivirus would slow it down like molasses. Turned off Norton and it read much faster.
