Batten down the hatches don and stay safe!

If it moves a little farther north ,then we might stay
Looks like a Frederick Md road trip to me

This is the 3rd in 3 years
Before this it had been 1o yrs

I still remember them from SC. And the tornado that dropped down in 1973?

Where ya gonna go?

All I did was cut the weeds in front down to uniform height!

MD may not be much safer, BTW. I'd suggest Asheville NC. Far enuff inland, geographically much better.

And Isaac is humming further south. That one could end up in the Gulf.

Doc, Fredneck is way west so out of harms way. A bit of rain we can handle
And besides, it's dog friendly

I have family, 2 sisters, in Myrtle Beach area and we are very concerned with their welfare. Hoping the winds and rain dies down quite a bit! PJ

Just found out that 1 sister went 50 miles inland and the other is not in the evacuation zone but further inland. Her son is staying with her and they are stocked up with all the necessities they could gather. He even taped all her windows jut in case. Were still very concerned! PJ

Cat 4 as of now
Don't think it's gonna weaken much

We're 90 miles south of that

If there is any chance you might need to bug out, assume you need to and do it sooner than later. Roads will be packed.

This could get REALLY SERIOUS1 - people losing internet access.
Time to call your Senator/Congressman.

I wish I had family in Fl.
The weather is clear once you get past Savannah

we need to REGULATE these things. License them with a 30-day waiting period. MUST be stored in a lock box, and wind can NEVER be stored in the presence of rain

Pre-Crack of dawn tomorrow
Hope the traffic won’t be too bad; lots of people running for cover.
Be safe!

I will be going to my house on the east coast early next month...seems to be the season for these to hit?
Be safe in your travels!

Looks like it won't be bad 'cept the storm surge here
