Excellent pictures! Never saw a Curtiss Commando in the air before. What a cool plane - it's got that "Curtiss" empennage and nose.

The pic of the AC-47 and the A-1 skyraider brought back vivid memories. I have seen them both in combat action from a birds eye view of the HU-1 {Huey} Awesome to say the least! I have also witnessed the AH-1 Cobra doing dastardly deeds to enemy forces in combat, something to behold for sure. B-52`s are no slouch either, although I didn`t actually see the drop I have witnessed many drop zones after the fact, all I will say is I wouldn`t want to be anywhere near the drop zone when 84 500-lb Mk 82`s or 66 750 lb M117`s started going off. I love the early Proped war birds, something about the look, especialy the P-51 Mustang and F4U Corsair.
