Just wait till you find a fuse block with a .22 shell in it for a fuse (live none the less). I 've seen screws, and tin foil, and bolts, and other various pieces of metal, but that one took the cake...
YOur buddy spent HOW MUCH on a ,TR6 is it. Yikes! I've seen exceptional TR3s go for less than that.
 
I saw his new TR6 yesterday at a club rally. It was not a bad looking car. The paint is better than the 69 and the motor is dressed out nicer. However, There is a Banshee in the rear end and the universal joints are knackered up. The carbs need to be rebuilt etc... I don't know how much he paid for her yet. I'm sure it was too much. I'll get pics and post them next week. To be honest I like his new TR6 better than the "nicer" one.
