Post-War Other Herald and Spitfire at Auction

New member and my first post. I have a 1968 GT6 Mark I.

Wanted to pass on for those interested that there is an auction in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan this weekend.

In the midst of many american cars, there are two triumphs:

1961 Herald Convertible - Collector Car Group - 1961 Herald
1974 Spitfire - Collector Car Group - 74 Spit

I have no affiliation with either of these cars or with the auction company.

Welcome to the forum and I am happy to see someone with a GT6. There is a lot of knowledge from the people on this forum and they have saved me much time and effort.

Every one likes pictures so make sure you post some pictures of your car.

Welcome-

Wish I was closer to that auction, the Herald looks very nice!

That Herald is an interesting car, especially with that grille. Yes, it is a correct grille, but those grilles usually were seen only on the Herald Courier van and the Herald "S" model. But apparently they made their way onto a few "export" convertibles, such as this one currently in Colorado (fellow BCF member-owned):

Overall, the "Moose Jaw" Herald looks pretty decent. Personally, I'm not crazy about the color, but....

Moose Jaw doesn't sound like sports car country.
I was expecting the cars to look a little rougher.
