So, what would happen if you fitted Dodge hemi heads on a Dodge Magnum engine? Or will they even fit?

Are you talking old Hemi heads to the newer engine? If your talking newer engines for both, I believe that they are different engine families.

What I thought....my Dodge truck is a '98 with the 5.9L engine....they didn't make a hemi that year....so, I'd have to go to 5.7L Hemi heads or 6.1L....if they'd even fit.

Tony,
Why not get some old head gaskets and compare them for starters, if they match then thats a start
Cheers

Good idea...other than that, I'm really wondering if just bolting on the heads does anything. As I've been reading, I can't seem to find anything that says the Hemi engine bottom is any different than any other Dodge engine, but I could be wrong about that.

Thanks for the link...I'll ask my dumb question over there....probably get laughed off the place!

Doesn't sound like a dumb question-sounds like you're turning into a hot rodder!
