So, speaking/writing of body front-ends... I just saw this photo on the other Sprite forum (Spritespot.com). A Bugeye rear (with round wheel wells) and proper front grill, but what about those headlights and front fenders? I've never seen such a modication. This shot is a period '60s photo. What the heck is it? A Mark 1.5?!

Swiss adaptation made by Emil Frey AG, Flurstrasse 44, Zurich, Switzerland, utilises stock grille and most of the stock hardware components.

I'm kinda diggin this front end . it's kind of a cool idea to have one of these all built up and painted so you could just swap out front ends when you wanted a change for awhile

Looks good. Since there is a good chance it is pretty rare I bet it is worth a lot.

Actually, these are probably among the least rare of the period examples. I see them come up for sale quite often and you can see several examples on the page link JP included. I've seen many, many more.

The Denner Bonnet you have pictured on your site is my old car. I kick myself for selling it all those years ago, I am guessing the guy that bought the car never put it back on the road because it has never been seen since.

since this was dug up i just wanted to say i did sell the front end. i hope the guy that bought it uses it, i would love to see it on a car!
