Help on installing carpet on BN1

Hey all,
In the midst of installing new carpet on my 1954 BN1.
I'm using a Heritage Trim set - quality is excellent.
Went with Heritage because of their sale and they have
the right red available. Moss and VB reds are too dark/maroon
for me. Anyway, when you cover the the bulkhead by the
transmission there are three pieces to use. One covers
the very front of the square bulkhead and the other two
cover the sides and the footwell on both sides. All of this
is glued on but anyone have any suggestions on how to "seam"
the joint between these three pieces ? I can try to wrap the
main piece around the corner but Heritage's carpet is pretty
stiff. Help - any ideas on what one of y'all might have done ?

Hi Mike, I haven't done this part of the project yet, but on other cars when the anchor points are not visible I have used the typical carper/uphostry screws with the countersunk washers. I do not like to glue carpet. I feel it invariably comes loose and then becomes sloppy. On the seam sealing issue, would a typical seam tape as used in home carpeting work? Just a thought.

The way I did it was to use some excess blue leather and trim the front bulkhead carpet vertically with the leather, forming "roll" or "tuft" . The look is good with no screws and easy to remove if doing any tranny, overdrive work. The look is seamless.

Hey,
Got the goods from Heritage and they have sent me some good
info on how to do it but involves taking the panel off from
the bulkhead. Going to give it a try.
