Help! - Need SU HD8 Part [Throttle Lever]

I have an SU HD8 carb with a broken throttle lever (the arm that connects the carb spindle to the accelerator linkage). Photo 1 & Photo 2

This is actually for a '67 Land Rover, but I found out that some model Healeys used the same carburetor and linkage. I've had no luck through Rover channels, so I'm giving this a shot.

If you have one or know where I can locate one, please let me know. Thanks!

See my reply to your post in the Jag forum. Joe Curto is the man (I included a link in your Jag forum post)

Just wanted to post an update... Joe Curto was able to hook me up with some levers that were shorter. The idea was to then bolt a short piece of metal on to one of them to extend it. I ended up just cutting the top off the second lever and bolting them together (see attached pic). Only 1mm difference in length and it doesn't weigh much more than the original lever, so this should work just fine. And it's not 40 years old and rusty. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

HaHa. Can't say I really have plans to often climb under the engine bay and just stare at the lever. Although I will miss the old one... reminded me of a part off a U-Boat. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
