If I knew the car was mechanically solid and was driven regularly, I wold pay 4k... but we can't win 'em all.
 
Yep Andy, that's the one . Someone early in this post noted it as being a "good" alternative. So it runs ! IMHO the claimed mileage is unlikely. At 24K it should still be like new including the paint. And those warped door panels ugh.
And where are the engine compartment cardboard panels gone after so few miles and such a limited amount of use? Sorry, but I am very skeptical of the values of some of these "prizes". Just as a reference, there is/was a MK4 on the Albany Craigs list a couple weeks ago for $1500. Bob
