Howdy Sunbeam people. I'm a Triumph and Healey person, but have been thiking of branching out the collection. I've always liked the Tiger, but must admit that I don't know much about the car. I saw this car on eBay, and though I know things always look prettier on eBay than in real life, I'm tempted. I'd love advice and thoughts from those in the know! Thanks so much!

Beautiful looking car. Only found a couple nits. No bumperettes, no chrome side trim. Pretty sure 65's didn't have a glove box door. I had a 65 back in 67 but my memory is dim. Cover for the soft top should be metal not fabric, but couldn't tell from the pics. Also check for the original remote oil filter just in front of the driverside cylinder head. (A real PITA). All Tigers came with a dinky 2BBL carb, anything else is after market or possible dealer installed. Wheels appear to be factory options, standard were steel with hub caps and trim rings. Rust is your enemy as in all LBC's, especially with unibody. Good luck, Bob

Its a nice car
dash is aftermarket or homemade.wooden dashes were burled walnut and no glovebox door.No side strips and no overriders.Wheels are defniltly aftermarket
Heck there aren't too many originals left and this is definitly under the heading of personalized.Price seems somewhere just a tad high.Yes seams were leaded in at factory.
Go to TE/AE website and check there as well.
If you do buy it you will enjoy it thats for sure.We sold our stock 66 to finance the redo of our 62.
